WHO: Felicity Smoak and OPEN WHAT: Walking home with the puppy. WHERE: Street near the towers. WHEN: 6/7, Late at night. RATING: TBD
Storybrooke was nothing like Starling City. Felicity knew she was relatively safe, knew the people she cared about the most were safe. However, she found herself missing the chaos of her home city. At least there she had things to occupy her time with, things to distract her from the stuff that was in her head. Sherlock was worrying her. She had never expected to find someone like him, let alone have him want to be with her, and she was scared she was losing him. Oliver didn't like Sherlock and Oliver was her best friend. It was all getting to be too much. Luckily for Felicity, she was an expert at keeping things to herself.
The soft sound of her dog whimpering at her feet snapped her out of thoughts. "Come on, Love," she said "Lets go home."
She stood and snagged the puppy's leash before attaching it to the collar and leading her outside. Lovelace bounded ahead as much as the leash would let her and Felicity couldn't help but smile. At least the dog was simple. She loved her. That was all there was too it. As long as she kept feeding her and taking care of her.
"Why can't men be as simple?" she asked after bending down to scratch her dog behind the ears. Felicity sighed and kept walking. Mindful of how late the hour was growing and working very hard too keep herself calm. It wasn't Starling. She was safe. She didn't need to have someone walk her home every night.
"I hope there is ice cream left or Vodka or both."
