Ragnar knew something was wrong, that something was going on with Sonya. But he wasn't exactly sure of what. At least, he wasn't certain what was going on until the woman grabbed his arm and pulled him down to the ground. Well, he hadn't been expecting that.
He remained still on the spot where Sonya had pulled them both as he attempted to think of the best way to deal with the situation.
"Sonya." He spoke softly, calmly. "It's okay, Sonya. It's a storm." He was unaware that storms would knock out this thing called electricity, but he assumed that this was the case. The fact that the electricity went out just as the thunder and lightning occurred. He just put two and two together and hoped his assumption was correct.
He slowly sat up on the floor, his hand reaching out toward the woman's arm. He rested his hand on her arm, in an attempt to soothe her. "We're going to be okay."
