The familiarity of the gesture was comforting. It reminded her of the very few uncomplicated days that they had together. She linked her arm with his. "It is old fashioned," she admitted softly. "But sometimes an oldie is a goodie." She pretended to think on it for a minute. "Like you." She winked at him playfully. "and no, it doesn't cramp my style. I haven't really gone out of my way to establish my style here."
"They've been pretty nice to us," she agreed. "Apartments, money. They've definitely gone out of their way to welcome us. I'm not sure many of us would be as welcome if the situation was reversed."
She grinned. "You're such a guy, Rogers. Already thinking with your stomach." she teased. "But yes, we can stop or pick something up." It was amazing how nice it felt to just be around him again. It would change when the topic changed to the things they were avoiding but she was happy to enjoy it for what it was. "There is a Tony here. I haven't really spoken to him so I'm not sure how much withdrawal he's going through without the good stuff."
