“People seem to arrive here in groups,” Remus replied, “You know... with connections to people already here. So maybe they’ll show up after all.” He rather hoped so – he’d been lucky enough to be reunited with his best friends, and it only seemed fair that Hermione should get the same. It couldn’t be much fun being here all on your own. Not to mention James had already told him how much he wanted to meet Harry.
He laughed at her comment. “I wanted to be an explorer,” he admitted. “But librarian does the job in the meantime. It’s definitely worth a look if you’re interested, and there’s a bookshop as well that sometimes takes people on?” Apparently, expecting to be provided for was a bit too much too ask after a complete universe switch. Still, Remus supposed the people of Storybooke hadn’t asked them to be there… Or so he assumed, anyway.
He was quickly deciding he rather liked Hermione – they seemed quite similar, and it was rather refreshing to chat to someone who didn’t roll their eyes or fake yawn when he started discussing his reading list. He smiled across at her, crossing his arm on the desk as he looked across. “Really? What did you think of him? Did he get you to join his club?”
