"Indeed it does. Good job. You want a cookie?" Though truthfully she could think of some other words if asked.
That word wasn't really used around here. Not in America at least. They seemed to enjoy calling each other the c word over in London. That had been one of the first things she'd learned, being over there. Over here it was a travesty and awful if you deemed to call it that. She was of the opinion that no word for the vagina sounded pleasant, not even in a dirty bedroom sexy talk kind of way.
It seemed like they had a lot in common. She could be him if she.. didn't have morals and had the same upbringing as him. It certainly seemed like the whole lack of morals thing was what separated them, the more she found out about him. Well that and the fact that he sounded like he came from the 18th century.
Oh she didn't get it either, but that didn't mean it wouldn't happen. People always assumed the worst. Always. Especially when you were talking to anyone you didn't agree with. Some guy on television is seen talking to a politician not on their side? The horror. They must be brainwashed and awful by talking to them. Vice versa. She saw it all the time when it came to people and politicians. This was almost the same thing. People would freak out if she was talking to Fidel Castro too. She was used to it.
When he rolled his eyes, she was hoping that it wasn't because he disagreed. That would have been surprising. And she just called it like she saw it. Especially when Jane told her the way he spoke to her when she was in Asgard. Fuck that guy. He was a horrible parent. And decidedly a bad king. But then she knew politics inside and out. She could tell when someone was a bad ruler.
She snorted slightly, taking a sip of her drink and then set the cup down. "Yeah I don't want to deal with any mini-mes. I don't even know if I like kids." Most of the ones she knew were kind of awful. But that was because of horrible parenting. Her own included. "I can't imagine you as a babysitter either, so it's just as well." He'd probably freeze them and then unfreeze them when their parents came home.
There probably wasn't a way out of it. However Jane was here. Thor was not. So it was a moot point until he showed up. But the Avengers could totally babysit. Darcy had her hands full babysitting Jane and her stupid lab.
Darcy smiled slightly, "I guess they wouldn't be. Probably not. I mean.. maybe personality wise but yours would have powers and run amok. Mine would just run amok."
