Who: Harry Dresden and Molly Carpenter What: Harry decides to check to see if anyone has seen his missing person and ends up finding her instead. Where: The Rabbit Hole When: Tuesday, July 16th, Late Evening Warnings/Rating: None Status: Ongoing
Harry had been on his way to Arctis Tor to meet with Mab about the disappearance of Molly from there when he had landed in Storybrooke instead. The fact that this was happening so much that the people of this realm were standing by to not only explain but offer up rooms, cash, and a device that he had no idea how to us, spoke volumes about the problems they were having. Still it was the easiest cash he had ever made.
Since other people were coming here from random portals that had just appeared and Mab's message had said that was how Molly had disappeared, once he was settled, Dresden decided to do some actual detective work and see if maybe Molly's portal had been the same kind that had brought everyone else here. Maybe for once he'd catch a lucky break. He wasn't going to hold his breathe though. If it wasn't for bad luck he'd have no luck at all.
The local pub seemed like a good enough place to start since the local sheriff's office was currently swamped dealing with the sudden influx of people who did not belong here. Maybe Molly was one of the people through there but it could be hours before he'd actually get to talk to someone. For now it would be easier to hit the local scene and see if any of the locals, or any of the other appearing who might be needing alcohol to deal with this, had bumped into her at some point.
The first thing Harry noticed upon entering The Rabbit Hole, what kind of name was that for a bad anyway, was that it was certainly no McAnally's. Any beer here would be a sad comparison to Mac's, that was for certain. If Harry had known this was going to happen he would have packed some along for the trip. It wouldn't mind one right about now.
Harry made his way up to the bar and without looking at the bartender started to dig through his duster pockets for the picture he had of Molly that was lost in there somewhere. He could have described her but given the amount of new people he was sure there was at least a couple that might fix Molly's description. Besides, it had been a couple months since he had seen her and he had no idea what color her hair might be at the moment. It was forever changing, each color seeming to be more interesting than the last.
"Excuse me, but I'm looking for a friend of mine and wondered if you had seen her," Harry started, calling attention to himself, as found the picture and was about to offer it to the bartender when he looked up at the person. "Huh. Guess you have seen her."
