They were both quite out of their element, that was for sure. She didn't have friends. Sure she was being civil to Emma and Snow, but that was because she had to. There wasn't any other choice at the moment, because her son's happiness came before her own. Other than that, other than her son, she didn't have anyone. Not one single person. But it was the life she'd chosen, she could hardly complain about something she'd done to herself.
Mostly she had agreed to this because she had been forced to tell the truth and it had opened up a lot of harsh realities. Not to mention that the office didn't have tea. It just had a coffee maker. This whole thing was odd. She had half a mind to accept the tea and tell him to get the hell out and that would be that.
Regina would go back to being alone.
She didn't smile, only nodded him to come forward. Almost like she was sitting on some damn throne. "Good evening," she replied. At least he had manners. She hadn't been expecting even that much. She glanced at the bag, and then back up at Fred.
