He appeared as though he were considering the question for a moment. "Well. I've been told I can be a smart ass, does that count for anything?" He grinned at the girl across the table from him. "You're graduating early?" Well, that didn't surprise him much. She was brilliant, he could already tell this much. "What are you planning on doing after high school?" He didn't blame her for wanting to get out of high school as quickly as possible. He hadn't been particularly fond of the school system he'd gone through, either.
"Werewolves and banshees." Well, he had found an interesting person to eat with, that was becoming rather apparent. He would have normally taken what Lydia was saying with a grain of salt, but he knew she couldn't lie. Just like he couldn't lie.
He wrinkled his nose for a brief moment when she stated that the one who attacked her was the one who could help her with the banshee situation. He wasn't particularly fond of that idea, but if it would help her with her situation, he supposed it was for the best. "And I would be more than willing to try. Whatever you ask of me, within reason."
Bond pulled out a few bills from his wallet to cover his food and tea, and placed them on the table as well. "We shall." He rose from his seat at the table, and headed toward the door. He paused for only a moment, to hold the door open for Lydia.
Perhaps bringing Lydia back to his apartment was a bad idea, even if Netflix watching was the only thing that came from it. But he wasn't going to back out now, even if he wanted to.
