The only thing that she could think of was that people could enter but not leave. Which in case a lot of delivery guys would find themselves unable to get back and find a new place to live. She was going to go with magic, even if she didn't really understand it. As long as there was food and everything. After all the people living here didn't have to give them all of this stuff. They could have kicked everyone out into the woods to fend for themselves.
"Well.. the dog doesn't ever talk back, like people do. Not that you'd talk back but you know. There's no such thing as too much company." Well maybe there was, but she hadn't come across it. Not yet anyway. "I'm sure you're brilliant company." They needed to hang out together, clearly.
In any other scenario, she never would have said anything but since everyone else here was a super hero and there was magic, she figured he wouldn't look at her like she was nuts. "Not yet. Sometimes they go away on their own. Only sometimes I can tell what they're saying, but it's more just noise in my head. Sometimes it's just sound, not voices. I don't have any experience with banshees either." Lydia laughed and took a bite of her pie.
Another proposition. She would be kind of an idiot to say no. "You think you can help with that?"
