What: Running into each other accidentally.
Where: Downtown Storybrooke.
When: Backdated to 7/15/13, in the afternoon!
Rating: PG-13 to be on the safe side? Probably nothing too bad.
Jeremy Gilbert wasn't having a good day. As happy as he was to be able to talk to people again, and as happy as he was that most of the people he cared about were in Storybrooke (including his dead girlfriend, which he was still amazed about), it hadn't come without its own complications and revelations. Including the fact that Katherine was the one who ended up with the cure. Out of all the people who could have made use of it, it had to be her. He didn't understand why Elena hadn't taken it if she'd had access to it. If she'd had access to it.
Hell, he'd rather Damon had taken the cure. But Katherine? It figured, really. That was the way their lives went. Or their deaths. Whatever.
He walked slowly, keeping his head down and not really paying attention to where he was going. It didn't really matter right then, anyway. He just wanted to get some fresh air to help him clear his head a little. He did his best to remind himself that there was nothing he could do at this point. What was done was done. Still. The bitterness that he felt lingered and he found himself wanting to punch something.
Jeremy heard a familiar voice a few feet away and slowed his steps to a stop, looking over to see Bonnie standing there, a smile on her face as she said goodbye to whoever she'd been talking to. His stomach tightened and he drew in a breath, letting it out slowly. Another situation there wasn't much he could do to remedy. They were from different points in time, and right now she was from a point in time where she was really, really angry with him. And he couldn't blame her, really. And the fact that both he and Anna were here now probably didn't help her feel any better about the situation. Or about him.
But they were stuck in this town together, and there wasn't anything they could do about it. At least he didn't think there was. Although with her magic, he supposed nothing was impossible. Rubbing the back of his neck, he slowly made his way over to her.
"Hey." His voice was quiet.
