Sam was already starting to wake up slowly when he heard someone telling him to wake up in a familiar voice. It wasn't Sookie's voice and there was no reason for some other woman to be in his bedroom. Except he wasn't in his bedroom. He was laying somewhere cold and hard and not in his warm, soft bed. Possibly with his girlfriend beside him if she'd stayed over. His eyes snapped open as the realization that it had been the full moon filtered through his brain and he scrambled to sit up as he looked around him. The kennels and the animals in them told him right away where he was - the kennel. He didn't know how he'd ended up here, he always stayed in his apartment or Sookie's on the full moon to avoid situations like this.
And since he was at the kennel that meant that the woman who'd told him to wake up was Maggie. He groaned quietly and looked up at her as he tried to keep himself covered so that he didn't embarass her. "Hey Maggie. Is that for me?" he asked her, noticing the blanket in her hand.
