Fixing it would be harder. Fixing it would require talking about what happened. Would require talking about Clint. Would require talking about his fucked up family. Would require confessing things about his father and about his jealousy issues with Steve. Would require so many things that he wasn't ready to start talking about.
Things he probably should, mind. Things that Pepper and Bruce would listen to and wouldn't judge and wouldn't say anything about. Wouldn't make him feel like an ass.
So many woulds in there. So very many woulds. But yet, he found it hard to open his mouth to do anything other than kiss Bruce. He slid that much closer, his knees on either side of Bruce's as he leaned into another and longer kiss. This was holding him to the ground right now, keeping him in the present. "Bruce... I..." he trailed off, then dove into another kiss before he could say anything stupid.
Several days? It only felt like a few hours. He curled into Bruce's touch, groaning at the soft nip. "JARVIS is used to me disappearing like that. I think he's also not used to tech that isn't my own."
