To say that neither of them hadn't contacted each other since Maggie had informed Glenn of her cheating wasn't exactly true. Maggie had sent Glenn a text on Christmas, but she hadn't exactly been expecting a response back. She understood that he was angry with her, she understood that he probably hadn't wanted anything to do with her for a while. Just like Beth was angry with her, Glenn was as well. Not that Maggie really blamed Glenn for being angry.
And it wasn't that Maggie didn't love Glenn, because she truly did. But she was having doubts about the relationship with Glenn. How could she have fallen in love with Daryl if she and Glenn were meant to be together? And she really did love Daryl, she wasn't just claiming to love him. She was so confused, and having time away from Glenn didn't help that at all.
Maggie had been looking over the menu when Glenn entered the diner, though she knew she wouldn't be able to eat anything. Her stomach was in knots. She looked up when she noticed a person sitting across from her, and the sound of Glenn's voice.
