"Yeah," he said with a little bit of a shrug, realizing almost immediately from the tone of her voice that she wasn't really asking. And hey, if explaining all the muggle things to him would help her deal with the weirdness of this place, he was all for it. One of them should feel good about things, anyway, and he sure knew he didn't.
He shoved his hands in his pockets and looked away from her, answering her questions at the same time he made it painfully clear he didn't want to talk about it. Yes, he knew more than she did. But most of it wasn't happy things, and a lot of it wasn't things he was ready to talk about yet. He wasn't good with feelings, and he'd been experiencing an excess of them lately.
"Yeah, the Battle at Hogwarts." He involuntarily shuddered. If he could tell anyone, it was Hermione. After all, she was there, and she was...well, she was Hermione, which meant a whole lot to him. "I come from a couple of weeks after that."
