Clint, I was having fifteen conversations at once. My thought process was just that some of the bigger schools offer it as a language option, and I knew someone fluent, so I'd ask. If you're not comfortable, or just not interested, that's fine.
The math is unrelated to that. If was in addition to, not instead of, and only if interested. If you want to teach, you'd be welcome because we both know it is best for all involved that I never ever have to sub in to do it. I'm not comfortable handing over classes from the current teacher without talking to him about which he wants to let someone else cover, as he's a resident and has been here longer than I have. But I know he would like at least one covered, so he has a free period to grade and meet with students. If you'd like to teach that class (or more than one, if it works out that way), I'd be grateful. If you'd like to also help tutor some of the special case students who are behind, that would also be a help.
I think he'll be fine with you taking physics, but I'll ask to make sure and let you know. I may have to juggle schedules a little.
