I really have no idea what I want to do here, beyond just really just wanting to do something. I can't exactly just pick up my old job here. Headmistress of a school for ~~wayward mutants~~ gifted youth isn't exactly something you can just apply for. I don't think anyway.

I'm thinking maybe teaching, once the school year starts. There's a few subjects I have enough experience in. In the meantime, does anyone know if there's a dance studio in town? I haven't really had a chance to explore as much as I'd like to.

The Phoenix Force.

It came back and something happened. It split. Scott, Emma, Piotr, Illyana and Namor were possessed by it. Eventually, the others were freed from it and it was just Scott. He was...I don't even know. It was bad, Logan. There was so much fighting. Scott wanted to wipe out the Avengers. He was insane. Everyone was picking sides. It was pretty much a war. I stayed out of it. I was already running the school at that point, and I had to focus on my students. But Professor Xavier [...] he tried to stop Scott. You know how important his students are to him, and he didn't want Scott to do something he'd regret. But he couldn't stop him.

I'm so sorry, Logan. I really am.

	He was insane, Logan. He still is. Something's broken in him. He was locked up after, but he escaped. And the things he's doing...it's not Scott. Or maybe it is. I don't know. I don't give a damn what the Professor wanted. What he wanted got him killed and not even for a damn good reason. I could have dealt with it if you told me what he did amounted to more than a pile of shit covered in garbage. You're telling me that snot nosed, selfish, self-righteous, entitled...

You're telling me kills Xavier and just gets to walk away from it. That's not good enough. And he ain't gonna be a martyr, because when I'm done with him he's going to fit into a fucking shoebox.

I'm telling you Charles died for what he believed in. I'm telling you he fought to stop Scott from killing a lot of people. And he may have died, but Scott was stopped. And if you kill him, you're saying that it's fine to kill people, as long as they deserve it. And that's not something I want our students learning. We reopened the school to do something good, to teach the children without turning them into soldiers. I know you're not from the same time as me, but I know it meant something to you and I'm not letting you turn your back on what we stand for.

He escaped, but he won't get away with it. We'll stop him, and we'll help him. Because it's the right thing to do. Please, Logan.
