Hey - I just saw I was rostered on for Friday night. Is there any way you could cover me?

The night club is opening and Hale's been asking me if I can make it or not. I'd like to go support it.

I'll owe you at least three covers.

	Sure. I'll tell you like I told Jo - as long as it's not the full moon I'm willing to cover for anybody. Just so long as they ask me ahead of time. Yeah I saw where the opening was announced. I'll keep that in mind. Jo's been really good about not scheduling me for the full moon so you don't need to worry about that but I'll remember you said that if Sookie and I want to do something special and we don't have a night off together that week.

I used to like going to them but I outgrew them. Bars are a different story of course.

Good friends can be hard to come by sometimes. Maybe more so in a place like this. If nothing else you'll each have a friend there to keep you company if the opening doesn't go all that well.

Exactly, t's not all about full moons, you have a life too. I mean well I guess we all have some kind of life here. We might as well live them and need nights off randomly.

Bars, well things are easier in some ways at them. There is a reason I went for working at a bar, not a club, not that I really thought about that option when Jo said she could use more people to work here.

Whatever the opening is like, at least it wont be boring. I'll send you a picture of it.

No it's not all about the moon but it's something I need to think about. ~~More than I realized until this month~~ We all do have lives here which might occasionally call for random nights off. You're just grabbing the first one.

I've never worked at a club so I don't know how it compares to working at a bar. I can tell you - I wouldn't trade being a bartender for owning or even just managing a place here in Storybrooke. I know what that's like from home, I can't imagine how much of a headache it might be here. And Jo's a really good person to work with and for.

Just don't get so wrapped up in sending me pictures of what's going on that you don't have fun.

	Who would have thought, Storybrooke, Maine is the place to be to have a life. Yeah, it's worse than a tourist town probably, trying to keep staff with people coming and going and not have control over where they are coming from. I can't imagine the headache. It's got to be a nightmare. Even when people just go home for a few days and then come back.

Good. You deserve some. You've been working hard since you got here. Maybe you can get one of the people you know from home to go with you.

	You know what's sad? Is if "real" pirates walked into the bar I worked at back home, I wouldn't even blink. I don't want to know. I'm okay here. If real pirates walked into Merlotte's - I'd just think they were vampires and get a bottle of synthetic blood out for them. I kind of wish some had now.

I'm not sure I want to know what happens back in Bon Temps either. Sookie told me some stuff about what happens to me and when she came back at Christmas - she told me there was nothing I needed to worry about back home and that's enough for me. For now at least.

Considering I'm pretty sure that club is for over 21's only? Probably pretty unlikely. There's other stuff that you two can do together here though.

Synthetic blood? Vampires can live on synthetic blood? Really?

The first thing Davina told me was that she killed 4 witches to protect me. She's sixteen. She shouldn't have to deal with things like that, or the large number of people and groups that want to use her or kill her. I'd prefer her to be safe here, and myself, as much as I want to know and as much as I think I need to know, I can't exactly leave, so I have to make this my home and do what I can you know?

I hear P3 is pretty good for that.

	In my world they can. I don't know if it would work for vampires from other worlds even if I knew how to make it. No she shouldn't. Neither of you should. Do me a favor?
