Well, in that sense, yes, fine. But then so is my father. So is every soldier or cop that has ever taken a life in the line of duty. My point is that you feel remorse about it, right? You're not proud of it? Yes, you did it, but that doesn't make you someone unworthy of, I don't know, anything you might be thinking of, because of it.
No, it doesn't negate it and it shouldn't. It's horrible and in an ideal situation it shouldn't have happened, but that wasn't one.
