It's a sad day when I'm missing Matthew.

So people randomly come and go here. No pattern. No rhyme or reason. And no one knows where they go when they leave here. I'm not satisfied with that. If I can be of assistance in some way to whoever is trying to fix this problem, just say the word.

The only thing we know is that if someone here comes from a world we see on TV, they still exist back on their show, even if they're here. Which makes as little sense as it sounds like it makes. But it's all we have so far.

Even if that's true. I still won't be home. I was trying to get back to my home. If it even still exists.

Has anyone checked into a correlation between the amount of time between being sent here and them being sent elsewhere?

It's probably there, right where you left it.

It varies. Some people are here for barely a week, and others have been here for six months or more.

I went 66 years back in time well before magic brought me here. I have no idea if anything I was doing was changing history as I knew it. There's a chance that my life is still there.

Well, there goes that idea.

Time travel always complicates things. I'd ask if you know the Doctor, but 66 is a very specific number. He's not traditionally good at hitting specific numbers unless the TARDIS feels like it. History isn't as written in stone as you think it is, anyway.

We've got some notes and tests written up, but no real answers. You're welcome to look, if you want. Captain Jack Harkness, by the way, hello.

I'm certain a doctor wouldn't be the right person to ask. I need Alec. I know it's not set in stone. That's what I'm worried about.

There are people here who know about time travel? What's a TARDIS?

Agent Kiera Cameron. It's nice to meet you.

He's not that kind of Doctor. He's a Time Lord. Time is his thing.

A TARDIS is a ship that moves through space and time. The Doctor's looks like a big blue box because he's a creature of habit. There's a few of us who've traveled in time. Some more than others.

The pleasure is all mine, Agent. What agency are you with?

Is he here? Wait.i'm assuming if he's still here he cannot help get me back to my time. Or my world apparently.

Huh. A ship. A machine and and orb were what zapped me back in time.

Vancouver City Protective Services. Or generally referred to as CPS.

He is. Or one of him is. There are a few different versions, but the others disappeared, so we just have a lone Doctor. It's complicated, but he's as stuck as the rest of us. Which is driving him crazy, I promise you.

I had a watch, once. Not very precise, but it came in handy.

That's a new one to me.

I know the feeling well. Perhaps I will look up the Doctor then.

A watch?

I'm from 2077. That might be why.

He's always worth a chatting up.

Well, vortex manipulator, but close enough.

I'm from the 51st century, but ended up in the 1800's. Sometimes all the acronyms I've heard get a little muddled.

Somebody you don't count as a friend back home I guess?

The way people disappear from here isn't all that comforting satisfying to anyone I don't think. And I don't think it ever stops being a shock.
