Coan's a pretty well trained warrior, growing up with two bad ass soldier types for parents, and knights all around him to show him how it's done. Alas. He has never killed something that wasn't going to be eaten, or decorating his trophy hall. That's all going to change very soon, obviously. He's a sweet boy, and has an idea of what he's about to be thrown into, but I'm not quite sure he's ready for it. Really, he's just happy to make his momma proud, and knows his poppa would be proud of him, too. Yup, totally just copy pasted that. Anyway. As for Thren, I actually haven't figured out how he feels about mages, in general. He thinks magic is interesting, and respects mages who wield that power with great skill, but I'm not sure if he fear-respects them, or what. Right now, he really only gets upset about people practicing blood magic, because, wtf, that's retarded. He doesn't get it. I don't think he gets all up in arms about apostates, because that's silly. As long as they're not being stupid, what's the harm? He's way too chillaxed for that nonsense. Idk if any of that helps, but I'm running out of things to say because I'm being distracted again 8]
