Yeah, so far, Bethen's the only one who has a somewhat positive view of the Tower -- and she was almost killed by abominations there, so that's saying...something about her, not sure what exactly. But she would reassure Thren that life up there wasn't terrible. Granted, it would probably be a lot more acceptable if mages had more freedoms and actual ability to make choices for themselves, but she considers it home, a safe place to learn, and the members of the Circle to be her family. She's happy to share all that she's learned, and if she didn't know the Chantry would rather eliminate him for having grown up outside of their reach, Beth would be happy to show him that being part of the Circle isn't necessarily a bad thing.
And...haha, bawdy stories would just turn Beth scarlet. :x
