The other thing for him to probably be wary about is that...well, she's a Circle Mage, and she's not a ~rebel~ against the authority of the Chantry, so if he knew that about her, he might be less inclined to trust her. However, she's got no interest in dragging anyone off to the Tower if they don't want to go, so neither he nor the Apostate actually have to be concerned about her. Her only concern is in regards to whether or not the Apostate has been practicing...er, safe magic, if you will. A blood mage and maleficar is one thing, but a hedge mage who is living (relatively) peacefully with his people and only acts in self-defense? That's kosher in her book. Beth's sort of an optimist -- she'll just hope those two will come around and realize she's not a threat.
