Mary considered her own choice of words when Mrs. Montoir asked about them. She hadn't thought too much of it, but the woman was right; it meant something. She thought for a moment before answering.
"Darius and Evangeline will limit close their floo networks and we'll have the area around the venue charmed to prevent portkey or apparation once the ceremony begins, to make sure that no one looking to vacation in Greece accidentally lands in the wedding," she clarified. "Closing incomers off also neutrally prevents outgoing travel, which means that anyone wishing to leave early will have our host's knowledge about it," she said.
Mary almost laughed at the idea that her wedding day meant lots of people would want her attention. Truth be told, the event was very small, and most people who were there for Mary also knew Tabitha. While Tabitha wasn't the most social creature ever, she was certainly more of a party personality than Mary was, and she would undoubtedly have time to keep an eye on Dorian, especially since he probably wouldn't care to stray too far. Regardless, she appreciated the consideration and turned her humor into a grateful smile.
"There are several other professors attending," she said. She hadn't yet gotten an RSVP from everyone but she knew that at least Tabitha and Rory would be there, and that was two. They'd both be busy as well, but still. Selina and Tarquin may be coming, and there was still some discussion over the guest list, so they could end up with more still. "As well as a particularly keen kneazle of ours," she added, not sure whether that would help at all. "She lives in the castle here and knows Dorian, so I'm sure that she'll be keeping an eye out as well."
It sounded ridiculous, but anyone who'd meet a kneazle with any sort of attachment to a human knew that it was quite a serious thing. Ailuros would become terrifying if anything were to threaten her boy.
