I almost feel like I should apologize in advance for this guy, Tony DiLorenzo (PB Frank Iero). Nearly everyone has a friend or relative that means well, but are slightly ignorant. Well, that's Tony. He a New Jersey native, born and raised, that wound up on Staten Island with his wife, [info]adilorenzo. Coming from a large Italian-American family with a blue collar background, he's neither shy nor quiet. Tony can be very outgoing and easy to talk to, which comes in handy while working with people every day. Since 2001, he's been working as a professional tattoo artist and body piercer. He currently has an artist residency in a Brooklyn shop. For a high-school drop out, Tony likes to think he's doing well for himself and someday hopes to open up a shop of his own. He would be putting away money to make that dream a reality, but he and his wife are the parents of two young boys. There have priorities, money's always tight-- that's just life, as far as he's concerned.

The reason I feel the need to apologize, is because Tony is somewhat of a bigot/misogynist/racist/homophobe. He's generally aware that there's a time and place for everything, mostly keeping his view of others under wraps. But he's known to sometimes spout-off prejudice without realizing. This kind of ignorance comes from the way Tony was raised, in a very conservative, Catholic household. He's definitely become more open-minded as he's grown up, but his bigotry is still a problem. He also has a stereotypical Italian temper that is extremely volatile when provoked. But! If you can get past his flaws, he is extremely caring and passionate.People's lifestyle differences might make him uncomfortable at first, but he will generally swallow his apprehension and tends to get along with everyone. He's a loyal friend, the type of guy to always have your back, and very trustworthy. Also, his kids are at the center of his world. He loves those boys and does his best to be the best father for them.

So if anyone needs lines filled, please let me know and I will be happy to filly them for you! If your character has been tattooed or has any body mods, maybe Tony could have done the work. I'll talk any lines you guys throw at me-- friends, clients, co-workers, people to butt heads with, blatant enemies, anything!

Oh my, your guy sounds awesome! I'm not sure how happy Max would be around Tony (Max is openly gay and married to ~julem), but I think a meeting/chat/whatever between him and Tony could be really interesting. Plus, Max adores Ana and is one of her clients.

Oh, and Max has two (poorly done) tattoos, so he could maybe come to Tony in the hopes to get a nicer one? Or to get one of his odd tattoos re-done?

Haha thank you! I'm glad my post didn't actually scare everyone away. When I saw your character and [info]julem, my first thought was things could definitely get interesting! Tony is rarely outright homophobic, but definitely comes across as uncomfortable in the company of gay people. He's usually fairly polite, except will be shifty eyed and make pointed comments ("I didn't know your people did such and such too. The more you know") without realizing that he's being rude.

I definitely hope Max comes into Tony's shop, maybe Ana could give him a recommendation to stop by. I know in a work environment Tony forces himself to be professional, but there's plenty of potential for him to squirm

Haha, no, not scared at all ;) Tony sounds super interesting and I'm sure that it would be really fun to throw Tony, Jules and Max into a thread together <3 Max was raised by a homophobic father and had his coming out in the early seventies, so homophobia is not a foreign concept to him and he will likely make jokes about Tony's comments (or call Jules for some public flirting and kissing lol).

That would be really cool! If Ana would recommend Tony's shop, Max would definitely go and see Tony for help with his tattoos.

I think these two might have to meet sometime. Ezra has a few tattoos, and he's currently living in Brooklyn so that might give them a chance for a run in?
