the socialite
Now that she's all sorted out and has been accepted I thought I'd try my hand here again. This is Starlynn Lockheart, a 20-year-old New York native. Her father, David, is the CEO of Lockheart Inc. which owns/operates dozens of casinos, night clubs, and upscale bars in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Atlantic City. Needless to say, there's no shortage of money in that family. Her mother, Tara, was a professional runway/print model for years and still stays in touch with the modeling and fashion community. She has two older half-brothers from her father's first marriage, but being the only daughter he has her father favors her, though he loves his sons as well. Though she's technically not employed, over the past year she's been working as head of the charity and social events division of her father's company. She organizes charity dinners and is often "the face" of Lockheart Inc. at other social events around the city. When she was a teenager, she went through a major Paris Hilton-Lindsay Lohan type of phase which ultimately led to a lot of negative press coverage for her and, as an extension of course, her father and his company. Because of all the pressure, she moved to England to live with one of her cousins in London for a few years before finally returning to New York in early 2010.
Since then, she's been slowly trying to climb out of the shadow of her former self and prove that she's matured and changed since her more troubling times. A task which has proven to be a little more difficult than she'd originally thought it would be. Her parents are good friends with Adelaide Hart's achart parents and Addy actually babysat Star a few times. As for relationships, Star's always had a hard time knowing who to trust and who not to trust; this goes for friends as well as boyfriends. She's never had a serious relationship and when she was a teen she went through boyfriends rather quickly. At one time or another she's been attached to the son's of other prominent New York families, up-and-coming musicians, actors, athletes, and at least one average Joe who most likely was too freaked out by the pressure of the press and paparazzi to stick it out. Since returning from England, Star's been more focused on her work and trying to rebuild her destroyed image than dating. However, she's very much a little girl at heart and no matter how naive it might be, she's still hoping for a fairytale type of romance. I'm open to any kind of line you can think up: friends, enemies, exes, flings, family, old partying friends from before she left NY, co-workers, and whatever else you can think up.
