hello all! this is elsa bryan, 'the environmentalist'. she's 43 and director of sustainability services for the pratt center. she's been in nyc for eight or so years and before that went to school in boston, chicago and chapel hill. she is friendly and caring, loves taking care of the world and rides her bike everywhere. she's definitely one of those crazy people who rides in the streets, but don't worry, she sticks to the bike lanes.

she's been close with

mbry for years, and could really use whatever plot otherwise! elsa is totally environmentally minded, she has her own hydroponic window garden and tries to reduce and reuse and minimize her environmental impact. as part of work she attends charity events and loves shopping as well, she's quite hippychic when it comes to clothes and sometimes even makes her own (though when she does buy them it's local shops and small boutiques).

i'm really up for anything, where she could live (neighbors?) to where she gets groceries or whatever. still trying to come up with an aim name as well! thank you

Shelby Lee is also an environmentalist despite her upbringing. Her family owns the fictional Penn Oil company (think Chevron) and she is just finishing up her degree at Princeton. She consults with her father on alternative energy sources and is very big on rain forest conservation, having spent all of last summer in the rainforests of Costa Rica. Being married to the governor of ny probably helps her causes a little, too.

	To be honest Elsa would totally be a little shocked at the whole arranged marriage kind of thing if that's something she would know/have known. It also looks like they could know each other through ~sxtn and at charity events and whatnot? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

This girl's really interested in the green movement too! Also, I love those window gardens, I've been thinking about giving her one of her own. Her parents are pretty prominent in NYC society, so she does attend a number of charity events on behalf of the family and there'd be no end to the obnoxious questions she'd be asking Elsa about minimizing her carbon footprint, etc. She doesn't have a job in-game right now and I've been on the lookout for one that looks interesting, so I'd love if she could get in as an intern or an assistant working with Elsa.

	oh man, i think that is a totally awesome idea! she'd love an intern. the pratt center seems pretty cool. elsa is hyper organized and very, very self-sufficient and efficient. the sort of job she has seems to be very directorial, but she likes to get down and dig in the dirt too. Nathaniel is a botanist/horticulture specialist at New York Botanical Garden. I've been looking for someone he might have dated when he first moved to New York. It would have been an amicable split, kind of a mutual decision that it wasn't working and he'd probably have remained friends with that person. They could have met at a function or something, if you were interested, and went on to have a short little fling that wasn't at all serious.

	aha i love this, totally perfect for elsa! she likes short things and especially low key not serious ones as well. She'd feel a little "oh my god this is what being a cougar is, isn't it??" to start, but would find it hilarious otherwise. and definitely still friends! she's good at keeping up with people (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He definitely wouldn't ever bring up their age difference just because he doesn't really care, but he'd probably pay special attention to her hydroponic garden, considering he grows pot that way in a cabinet in his apartment and is always trying to figure out best practices, haha. He's an oddball but he can be a lot of fun, assuming she realized (and she would have after any amount of time in his presence) that he is pretty much never serious.
