Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Just got accepted with this guy, so I figured I should probably try to get some more lines for him. This is Kohl Litka, he's 34 years old, a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, and also a sniper for the Army. He's married to [info]nicolettemarie and they have a son together. Currently they are separated but trying to work things out because they're both too stubborn to quit on each other or their son.

Due to his occupation he's very untrusting and standoffish with people when he first meets them, especially if he's with his wife or kid. Silence is usually how people are greeted for the first time until he gets a decent understanding of them, in his mind. After he warms up to people he's happy, warm, willing to help them out with anything, and mischievous. His family comes first, before anything else, but after his family is taken care of, everything is fair game.

I'm looking for anything you can throw at me! This guy needs it all. Sister, best-friend, friends, enemies, fellow parent friends, babysitter (that he probably doesn't trust with his kid), bar buddies, gym buddies, anything else you can toss my way! Let's plot.

This guy is around his age, maybe they can be friends?

Yay, friends! Marshall's 33, he's a high school art teacher. He's a pretty fun guy, he likes to laugh and have a good time.

Sounds good. Kohl enjoys having a good time. Although he might be a little untrusting of him around his wife, but that's just Kohl being paranoid.

I'd be willing to throw out Lotte here as a babysitter! She's bright, colorful and kids love her because she looks like a cartoon character most of the time, haha. She's 25 and a freeland makeup artist and hair stylist so she isn't tied down to a steady work schedule and would probably welcome the extra cash.

Didn't even notice the typo. That works, his wife is a makeup artist too, I think. He probably wouldn't trust her with his son, so he might be a bit of an ass at times to her, not intentionally because he's just trying to make sure his boy is safe.

Yeah! Irony, before I realized who he was married to I had offered Lotte up as a friend for Nicole. So I think this will all work perfectly. Can't wait. Honestly, Lotte either won't notice him being an ass or she'll just smile and ignore it. That's how she is. She figures people have their reasons for being the way they are and she's not a very Type A personality anyway. :)

Hm, we can definitely work something out. Let me think on it and I'll get back to you. Maybe friends or acquaintances, he might come into the comic book store every now and then.

Remy here was in the Army up until he was discharged two years ago.

Then I think they should know each other, possibly friends. Was hoping to find him a buddy from the Army. What was Remy discharged for?

Yeah, Remy here was an officer with the Corps of Engineers. And he was medically discharged, after he was injured by an IED during an ambush in Afghanistan.

Kohl always wanted to be an officer, but that obviously didn't happen. Oh man, that blows, no pun intended. Kohl can definitely relate to that, he lost his spotter to an IED and it messed up his pelvis to where his traction just isn't right, he has a distinct walk but it's not physically disabling in any way.

LOL Well, Remy wanted the hell out of his hometown, and the Army ROTC was the only thing that was going to be able to help him afford college. Turns out he loved it, so he stuck with it. He's still really bitter that his career was cut short. But he couldn't exactly continue since he suffered a brain injury (it's left him with some issues that he's working through). He was also wounded in the leg, which was enough lasting damage that it still pains him on a regular basis and gives him a noticeable limp.

ROTC wasn't an option in his school or else he probably would've been in it. His Pop took him to a recruiter the day of his 18th birthday and told him it was time to pay his dues to his country. Ever since he graduated high school, he has been. Remy can live vicariously through Kohl, he won't mind. I'm sure he is bitter, Kohl would be too if his was cut short, as much as he claims that it annoys him, he couldn't really imagine being in the civilian world with a normal job.
