This is Nathaniel Sexton, a 26 year old Williamsburg resident who works full time at the New York Botanical Garden as a Horticulture Specialist. He's been in this community for a couple months now, and has a couple of lines, but I'd like to be more active with him now that I have more time and actually write more. He's a close friend to

shelbylee, hangs out with

clothilda a lot. I could use the girl he dated when he first moved to New York (nothing too serious and nothing worth rekindling), people who play midnight soccer with him up on his roof deck, friends, acquaintances, the clerk at the record store where he shops pretty often, someone who lives in his building, the person who gives him guitar lessons, etc. I'm up for brainstorming if you have anything you think he could fill. Personality-wise, he's got a pretty good sense of humor and can be fun to talk to, but he's definitely got his quirks. Most find them endearing. Laz here is a sales clerk and stock boy at Rebel Rebel records on Bleecker St. He also just met Clothilda last weekend at the Hell's Kitchen flea market so they share an acquaintance. They seem like they'd get alone pretty well. Laz might even look up to him because he's quite a bit younger than Nathaniel. He's a really weird and quirky kid that's working his ass off between the record store and classes at the School for Visual Arts. He shares a 100 sq. ft. apartment with his two kittens and will literally talk to anybody. That's him in a nutshell, feel free to check out his bio for more in-depth information.

First and foremost, Ezra. Be still my heart! I've been in love with this kid since seeing City Island on Netflix. I would say, from the picture, Nathaniel would definitely be interested in shopping at Rebel Rebel, so maybe that's where they've met. He's fairly regular, probably stopping in at least once a week to browse the offerings. Nate's vinyl collection is his pride and joy. Discovering that Laz knows Clothilda would make Nate even more interested in talking to him, because he adores her. So maybe Nate's been coming into the shop for a while?

Haha, yes it's Ezra! I love him to pieces and City Island was so great. Yeah, I have other pictures of the inside of Rebel Rebel and the place is literally wall to wall from the floor to ceiling covered in mostly used vinyl and cds. Because of how tiny his apartment is, Laz's vinyl collection is really limited and selective, but he loves them. He doesn't know Clothilda well, but he knows who she is at least and he's very intrigued by her. Sounds great to me. Laz had only been working there since summer 2011 right after he moved to the city, but if Nate's a regular then he would have most definitely taken the time to learn his name and would probably let him know about anything new that came into the shop.

	Me too! I got a new laptop, so hopefully I'll be able to write more often as this semester comes to a close next week. We can really get Nate and Shelby together more often! I'm glad you guys are still here. <3 (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Oh, these two need to be friends, for obvious reasons! I was thinking maybe they could take the same train into the city throughout the week, and Nate finally got the courage to ask her what she was listening to? 	of course! Sloane is the same way, usually her friendships are made from random encounters or whoever has known her from the start. She is horribly straight forward at times which makes things a little awkward especially when she hits the right spot. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	West is 29, and currently living in Williamsburg. He has been playing the guitar since he was six, maybe he can be the one to give Nathaniel lessons. West does a lot of different odds and ends jobs, I can picture giving guitar lessons as one of them. (Reply to this) (Thread)

That absolutely works for me! Nathaniel has been taking lessons for over a year now, so he's finally able to kind of play...it's an exciting time for West to be his guitar teacher! Is there a specific time that they could meet every week? Nate has evenings and weekends free, for the most part...and I'm sure he'd be down for beers after/checking out shows or something if West is into that, after the lessons are over.

	West has evenings and weekends free for the most part too, he is pretty flexible. He does work as a bartender on weekends, so Nathaniel can stop by during his shift especially when local shows are playing. I picture him working at a bar in Williamsburg or Greenpoint that hosts a lot of different shows. Something like Union Pool but a lot less hype. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Maybe she tends bar at a place Nate frequents kind of often? As she's attractive, still has both of her limbs (okay, not that Nate would discriminate if she didn't), and decidedly female, he's probably tried to hit on her before, which could have proved to be fairly amusing for both parties. They could have started having real get-to-know-you conversations after he struck out?

	We could actually run with this, haha. I saw in her bio that she doesn't drive, though...but maybe it's still her car and someone else was driving her around in it? I'm sure he'd have been intimidated by her when he had to go to court for that ticket, haha. (Reply to this) (Parent)
