before i place a hold and start setting him up, does anyone need a husband/fiance/boyfriend or a couch-dwelling single slacker brother-in-law? what i have in mind for him may not work, but i'd like to fill lines if i can.

i'm kind of cannibalizing on an older version of the character, so i have a few key ideas, but everything's sort of shifting. basically, he grew up in a good family and was kind of a golden boy all through school and all through college. 4.0 and super involved and ambitious. he did two years of med school and then about a year into his clinicals, he broke up with the girl he'd been dating basically since childhood and his life kind of took a spiral. he quit everything and disappeared to amsterdam for a few months to hang out with his crazy uncle, etc.

all that was in his early 20s though. now he's in his early thirties and i'm thinking he might be like...started some kind of eco-friendly company ala TOMs or whatever a few years back. so now he's like this...super granola CEO type.

Well he certainly sounds pretty interesting. You're having him as the slacker type then, even though he's the CEO? I'd love to work out something. Seidy is a middle school music teacher, but a really terrible one, (think "Bad Teacher" and you've got the idea). We could come up with some kind of connection. How long as he been in NY? Maybe the school had some involvement with his company and he came to the school to speak to the kids about some eco-friendly program for kids or something? She's got a bit of the slacker mentality when it comes to her job, so she would have been forced to go if that was the case.

I've got this girl in the comm. She's The Rich Man's Daughter. Doesn't see eye to eye with her father. He's more interested in what he can get business-wise out of a relationship and Kyla is more interested in a personal connection with people. Doesn't really throw around the fact that she comes from money and what not. her bio is open in her journal if you wanna give it a look and see if we can work something out =)
