hello fellow new yorkers! i'm planning to bring in this emma stone pb as 24 year old pippa elizabeth marvin. she's a med student at nyu (i did a brief search for veterinary schools in/close to new york city and didn't have much luck, so if anyone knows of any, please direct me!). so far, she's the daughter of ~janalyn and step "daughter" of ~sharkov. she tends to overwork herself and since the passing of one of her younger siblings, she's been pretty difficult to deal with and has done nothing but study and work as of late. she's very headstrong, observant, independent and stubborn. she has a pretty dry sense of humor and a god-awful mouth but she's pretty damn loyal to her friends and family. i'm hoping to bring her in as the female half of the "dysfunctional couple" but there are a few loose ends that need to come together before i go too far into that. anyway, i could do with former roommates, friends, frienemies, fellow college students, exes, anything and everything. she's a part time employee in the restaurant that ~mcapretti's husband owns so i'd love to speak with anyone with connections there.

Not gonna lie, these two look weirdly alike. I think it would be funny if people kept getting them mixed up (idk what it is but people think that all redheads look alike just because they have red hair... i know this from experience :|. Is the restaurant she works at the Italian one? Because Leah works at an Italian restaurant as well as a server, so maybe it's the same one and that's where they met and people are constantly getting them mixed up, or something. I'm fine with whatever!

you're probably going to laugh but before i read your comment and just glanced at the icon in my email, i was frightened that it was emma stone and that i had overlooked her on the taken list. anyway, with that mistake, i don't see how we couldn't play on that likeness! it is an italian restaurant but did you have the name or anything arranged? i'm pretty sure it's the one ~capretti owns so if that's the case, i'm in! tell me about your girl.

lol Awww! No, definitely not Emma Stone, but they could seriously pass as sisters or something. XD I don't have any details on the restaurant, I had seen that ~capretti owned a restaurant, and I had already had it in her bio that she was a server at an Italian one, so I thought I'd tag along for the ride! Leah is 18 and a sophomore at NYU. She's a big ball of sweetness, a little on the naive side, but otherwise a very smart girl. She's into music, she's studying in a music recording program at the college to learn the business side of the music industry, and she also sings and plays guitar/piano as well, and writes her own music. She's not really sure yet what she wants to do, though.

she sounds very adorable! i still haven't had a chance to discuss much with ~capretti or ~mcapretti but how long has your girl worked in the restaurant? i'm thinking that pip has worked there for a few years. pip just finished her undergrad last year at nyu (though i haven't decided in what, yet) and just started the med school this past september. pip definitely doesn't have much musical talent (though she often sings anyway) but her boyfriend does, so they have that in common as well! anyway, long story short - having them work at the restaurant and people mixing them up sounds hilarious. maybe they even play it up, just for giggles.

	ummm, i think she's only been working there since she started school, so a little over a year which would give them a good foundation for a relationship. and yes, i definitely think they should play it up a little to confuse people! lol (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

well he's from a really wealthy family and he's significantly older than kolbie - so she can feel free to either support their relationship or completely feel that he's way too old for her. he's also once divorced. buuut personality wise, he's kind of an overgrown kid, always eager, always curious. he overcompensates for the disjointed family life he has that way. he's the owner and ceo of an up and coming craft brewery that's taking nyc by the storm.

	i'm thinking that pip was probably a little wary on their relationship at first and likely analyzed him down to the very last detail. all in all though, she really just wants kobie to be happy and if harold can do that, then she's fine with it. i'm sure there has been a few "robbing the cradle" jokes at his expense but it's all in good fun. 	sorry this took me forever and a day to get to but awesome! he legally adopted pip when she was a teenager so she's perfectly fine with others referring to him as her father. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I would LOVE for Brini to be a former or current roommate, just because they seem so opposite one another. Brini's "The Free Spirit" and makes most of her money off of selling weed to stressed out UES-ers, though a small amount of cash does come from her costume design studio. For the most part she spends her days "Homeschooling" her 4 year old daughter Nico and teaching herself random skills and hobbies (Her most recent accomplishment was learning basic conversational Russian, she's since moved on to chess).

oh my gosh, yes! pip's current living situation is a little complicated but i would love a former roommate line. after the death of pip's youngest sibling, she moved back home to grieve and be with her family but that temporary arrangement hasn't ended yet so she's sort of in limbo now - between the boyfriend/father/roommate. brini probably drove pip a little crazy with her free spirit but i'm sure she adored her in some weird way! i would love for them to still be friends - maybe occasional weed smoking pals as well :)

Funny you should ask about vet programs. I just looked this up for a character not long ago and there are remarkably few in the US. IF I remember correctly all of the DVM programs in NY are in upstate NY. But there are several vet tech programs in the area, unless you have your heart set on her being a vet doctor.

IF you keep her at NYU, Brandon here is a professor of Physics there, so they may have crossed paths at some point, or will in the near future.

thank you for clarifying that for me! i found cornell but it is definitely a little too far for pip to go daily. as for whether or not i want to make her a vet tech instead, i think with her ambitious nature, she's better off at med school but thank you for checking it out for me!

i'm thinking for her undergrad, she did biochem and if i'm not mistaken, she's probably had to do a few physics courses to get it so maybe he was a former professor of hers?

No worries! It was recent enough that most of the info was still in my history. Also: IF I'm reading the program correctly, she could have finished her vet degree this year at Texas A&M and be heading home ready to start work in a clinic.but don't quote me on it.

I was thinking that, but I wasn't sure if there was a physic requirement for her degree plan. But yes former professor sounds good to me. He's currently on loan to Cal Tech and will be back at NYU for the spring term.

	thank you for directing me to them! also, i think i have decided to keep her at nyu due to the fact i have a few lines worked out already which involves her being in ny for the past few years so along with the neighbor line, past professor works too. i'm thinking that attending a & m might have been in her plans but it just never worked out. 	For sure! I'm going back and forth with ideas but I'm thinking that perhaps she achieved her masters from NYU this past June and then she was accepted into the program in September and then with the tragic death of her brother, she had to give up her spot. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
