Hey, now that I'm in the game, I thought I'd post one of these. This is Moira Sullivan, played by the beautiful Rosie Tupper. She's an immigrant from Northern Ireland on a green card sponsored by the Catholic church so yes, she's very religious to the point where she does believe being gay is a sin (just so you know in advance for your characters). She comes from a small town and has five brothers at home so girl friends are more than welcome in her world. Moira works as an au pair so she isn't wealthy in the slightest since typically they are lucky to make more than $195 per week. She gets all her clothes from the church and has help paying her rent. But she would do anything to stay in the states. She doesn't want to go home and live the life that her family has.

Luckily or not so luckily, her life is about to take a crazy turn. She had a one night stand with one of the governor's aides (~bryaf) and she's about to find out she's pregnant so she's about to become New York's best (or worst) kept secrets and involved in a massive cover-up/scandal to keep her pregnancy secret.

So she can use some close friends (especially girlfriends although she does relate better to men just because of her family history). Maybe someone she's worked for or cared for their children since she's been in America for three and a half years. She's painfully shy because she thinks people will judge her because of her accent but is hardly a saint and has a pretty sordid relationship history, so maybe someone she might have gone on a date with, people she could hang out at bars and drink with and people she can help because she's a nurturing soul.
