Hello, everyone.

I've been gone for a while with Remy, so I figured I'd go ahead and toss one of these up to kind of play 'catch up' and figure out some lines with those of you that have come in since I've been absent!

Long-story short, this is Remington "Remy" Stark, twin brother to

presto. Remy was a soldier in the US Army for many years until he was injured while deployed in Afghanistan. It left him with a busted up leg and a closed-brain injury, which left him with a few issues he's still dealing with. Personality-wise...well, he's very blunt. He'll say just what he thinks and throw in a few f-bombs with it. He doesn't sway his opinion just to suit people. He's currently working as a computer science teacher at a local high school (same one as his brother, actually).

	ha, these two already met unofficially but maybe we can build on that? as future first lady, she's very big on meeting with veterans and family's. plus, she is really good friends with preston so if anything, maybe they can thru him? (Reply to this) (Thread)

	We could definitely build off of that! Remy's not as affable as Preston, but he's not terrible once you get to know him, if he decides he likes you, that is. And he'll be super wary of anyone involved in politics sniffing around him and his family. If he even gets a sense that she's only doing it for publicity or to look good, he'll call her on it. 	shelby lee has such a huge heart but she really has no idea what she's doing in politics so she just does what SHE wants and tried to be a good person so it would never be for publicity. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Gotcha. So they wouldn't know one another through that, obviously. But she does think of his brother as a father figure type - she was one of his prized pupils when she was in high school. So if/when she comes to visit him at school, she might have run into Remy. While she might be a little more intimidated by him, she'd still be very sweet and friendly. 	Yeah, it's very unlikely they'd know each other from class. And yeah, she definitely could have run into Remy if she came by the school, either by accident or mix up looking for "Mr.Stark". (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That could work, she probably isn't aware that there are now two of them. So she could have been directed to his class instead - and actually, she was probably going to visit Preston at some point this week, so we could just say that happens on Wednesday and they have a little confused/awkward (on her part) encounter? Politics with Sebastian's job aside, he and Preston are good friends and because there's a Jon/Jeremy connection (plus I have loved Jeremy since angel, forgive me) I would like to work out something. Bastian isn't a shove his thoughts down your throat kind of guy (Governor) and has friends who aren't in politics and are just normal awesome every day people that he'd be happy to befriend. So however you feel about that, I'm throwing him your way to have something, hopefully. Even if it's just a sort of awkward acquaintance through Preston.

Remy's opinionated as hell, and very set in his ways, so it's a good thing Bastian doesn't try to push his politics too much, or else he'd very quickly find himself on Remy's bad side. Remy's default opinion on politicians is that they're all douches, but he'd be open to getting to actually know Bastian if the opportunity rises. And they always could have met at some 'veterans affairs' event that Remy was coerced into going to or something.

(And Jeremy was great in Angel, so no forgiveness needed)

	she may not have taken computer science, but she had a math class/was tutored by preston when she was in high school. so maybe she knows him sorta or knows of him? not sure what basis they could interact on, but she's a barista at a local starbucks if that helps any. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Remy's only been there since the beginning of this school year, so she might know of him since he's Preston's twin and all, and went through a rough time after he was hurt overseas. But Starbucks is always an easy spot to start! Everyone needs their coffee in the mornings...or afternoons. (Reply to this) (Parent)
