Morning! So, I've been eying this place for a while and I think I've finally got the time to dedicate to setting someone up to join you all. I'd love to bring either this Karen Gillan pb named Jade or a Naya Rivera pb! Jade is already set for the most part in my head - she's a little ball of energy, originally from Ireland but having moved to NY when she was 5. She's graduating from NYU with her BA in Theatre and Dramatic Arts and its very obvious that she's a drama geek. There is a little bit of info on her in this journal. The other option would be a Naya Rivera pb, a Brooklyn native who has a habit of falling for all the wrong people at all the wrong times. She'd be bi-sexual, having had relationships with both men and women in the past. Is anyone looking for something to be filled that might encompass one of these two personality types? Details up for tweaking for sure! I just wanted to establish a bit of a starting point.

	i know ~presst was looking to get someone in as a sort of "good student" from their high school days. he's a math teacher in brooklyn but he teaches higher level math stuffs. i'll point them in this direction! (Reply to this) (Thread)

What ^ said for your Naya pb if you decide on her. Not sure how old you're intending on making her, but Preston only actually started teaching AP courses about two years ago (this would be his third year), so it's possible she might have been in one of his regular Algebra courses if she'd been in high school back then. Also, if you go that route, I'm going point you to the plot post before yours with the Selena Gomez PB because she's also going to be a former student at the high school. Even if you decide on the Karen pb, I'd be happy to try and work something out!

	I actually think I'm going to go with Karen because she was my original first choice and I think she'll be easier to get into since she's been in my head for almost a year now. 	not gonna lie, i adore karen and i would love if she were around. i have no idea what we could then do with these two, but i could almost see pera taking her under her wing somehow. so that's my vote! (Reply to this) (Thread)

Okay, first of all, I just read Pera's bio and info and I think I'm in love with her. Jade would be fascinated by how beautiful, sexy, confident and freaking COOL she is and just wanting to know her. Maybe Pera can be on a mission to help her gain some more self confidence! Jade isn't insecure by any means for the most part, but she often hides in her characters and playwriting. She also loves dancing even though she is probably the worst dancer in the world!

awww, thank you! haha she's something else, that's for sure. pera does need a younger sister type figure, so maybe they met and started hanging out and she did try to draw her out from hiding behind her characters and such, and now she just thinks of her as family? she's hugely protective of her own, so i can definitely see her taking on that role with jade. plus she'd be super jealous of her firey red hair. ;)

	awesome! maybe they've known one another for about a year or so. she wouldn't mind the secrets, but she's definitely not one to coddle and sugar coat things when it comes to giving advice and such. she'll be sensitive to a point, but she thinks that it's better to be real rather than just saying whatever the person wants to hear, if that makes sense. 	Even better - this girl's head is almost always in the clouds and it gets her in trouble sometimes. She purposely chooses to avoid things that seem unfavorable. As much as she may not want to hear it, she would really need someone to kind of keep her in check every now and then. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I love it! and i think pera definitely needs someone like jade in her life, to soften her and make her realize that she doesn't always have to have a negative view on things. she was much more idealistic when she was younger, i think jade would remind her a little bit of herself when she was a teenager, which would have given her all the more reason to take her under her wing and go all protective older sister on her. :)

Oh, man! I love that you know this song. It's one of my favorites as well! Hah, what if Jade approaches your boy one day and tries to get him to audition for something? She would be very convincing! She'll be convinced that he'd be perfect for the part. He could just be at the book store or something and she'd accost him out of nowhere... poor thing. What do you think? He could either be totally into the idea or completely against it!
