Would anyone like to do a slash version of the professor and the grad student, the young newlyweds, or the adopting couple? OR - would anyone like to play the wife of a male character who knows that her hubby sleeps around with men but chooses to say nothing because of their social status? We could figure out a premade for that one.

Hello all you wonderful people! I know it's a bit early, but I didn't want to do this before I applied and now I have so here I am!
This lovely lady here is Lorelai Kuykendahl, played by Yvonne Strahovski. Lorelai was born and raised in Austin, Texas with her mother Amanda and that whole huge side of her family - think Gilmore Girls but the daughter actually likes her parents and has more siblings. Amanda had gone to New York to find herself in her early twenties but only ended up finding an affair with a wealthy Kennedy type (but Joseph Sr, not one of the kids) and a positive pregnancy test. Amanda was then paid a hefty sum of money to move out of New York and never speak of it again, so she moved back to Austin and opened a little pie shop of her own with the money and little Lorelai was born. She was raised by lots of relatives and running around the kitchen of the pie shop, so baking was instilled in her from a very young age. She didn't meet her father until she was fifteen and moved up to New York to live with them. Apparently word had gotten out about the affair and they were trying to embrace the much younger half sibling, so she went to high school in New York and lived the Upper East Side life for a while. After high school she went down to Miami to study baking and pastry arts at Johnson and Wales with the dream of opening her own bakery one day like her mom (although that dream has changed a bit - she still wants the bakery but not in the traditional sense). It was here that she met her future fiance Ryan lockhartt. They dated throughout culinary school and planned to get married after graduation, but she chickened out after he got a job offer in New York. She broke up with him and was on the next plane out of the country. She spent the next five years exploring the world and learning everything she could about life and cooking and all the other people and histories out there. Now she's back in New York, working as a pastry chef for a restaurant on the Upper West Side and saving to start her own little bakery eventually!
Personality wise, Lorelai is Texan woman cliche. She is a no-nonsense type of girl who will just as soon hug and kiss you as she would kick your ass for being a jerk. She can be a bit fiery and rebellious at times but she knows her manners and still calls her elders "sir" and "ma'am" to this day. She is very proud of her Texan heritage and isn't afraid to show it off. Some people tend to write her off as a dumb Southern blonde, but she's actually fairly well rounded and knows a lot about a lot of things. She's a good person to talk to at time and will drink beers with the boys just as soon as she'll enjoy cocktails with the ladies.
That being said, I would love lines with all of you! So far all I have is that she's close girlfriends with pera, neighbor to presto, aunt of jvdh, and of course, former lover to lockhartt but I am totally ready and willing to work out other fabulous things!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to throw him out there for lines although the majority of them will be spontaneous and formed in game, while I put in his application in a few moments. This is Aislinn Connolly, native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He's one-half of the interracial couple ( kendalll being the other half), having moved to New York to get from underneath the eye of his father and his fiancèe's father's disapproval of their impending marriage. After going to school for six years to obtain a Master's degree in Exercise and Sports Science - Athletic Training, he has a position as the Head Athletic Trainer for the New England Patriots for the upcoming season, so I'm sure it's a big center of conversation for him, as is the wedding that he is slightly dreading because of the arduous process of planning and preparing. There's not really much to complicate him other than that, and he's brand new to New York so I would love for him to randomly interact with people and make friends in that manner! But it would be nice to have a few people he has already met in his short time in the city, if anyone would be up for that!
