Hello, hello, hello! New to the community and a little intimidated but ready to put my character out there. This here is Jason Young, a recent NYU graduate and photographer. He currently works at a local wedding magazine that's hoping to make it big, and he does freelance wedding photography on the side. He lives in an apartment in the Bronx with his new husband,

mylesy, aaaand... Yeah! I'm basically looking for whatever I can get for Jason - friends and potentially family members, enemies/people he doesn't see eye-to-eye with, rivals. I'm good with whatever! 	Hi there, I have Micaela who also lives in the Bronx and is a hair and make-up artist who works at weddings, photo shoots, etc. So I'm sure these two would have run into each other a few times and could have struck up a little friendship. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Oh, awesome!! I really like that idea. I can't see how they could have missed each other much, considering how much their work overlaps. 	Exactly, because the majority of her work includes weddings so it would be very hard for them to have missed each other. That sounds great to me, did you want to set up a thread or do it through AIM? I don't mind either way, I'm around enough for both. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	i've been tampering with the idea of having a cousin for this girl ig, what ethnicity is he? i think i saw italian somewhere... i'm thinking she's like 1/4 italian on her dad's side, so maybe they could be distant cousins? (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Ohhh, that's definitely possible. I'm thinking through his mom's side, probably? His mom is from Houston and I took a gander at her bio and her dad is from New Mexico, so it's possible. That they were cousins. I mostly play him as having Irish ancestry but that's through his dad's side. Maybe his mom's mom and Pera's dad's mom could be related somehow? yeah, if you're up for it i think that could be fun. maybe the grandmother's were siblings? these two wouldn't have really known one another until a few years ago, i bet. but if pera had heard that she had a relative in the area she would have hunted him down and been all, 'hey you! let's hang out.' because to her even if you're a distant cousin you're still a cousin. :)

	evelyn is in her last semester at nyu so it isn't completely unlikely that they could have met during his time there and struck up a friendship? (Reply to this) (Thread)

Please and thank you. Their PBs even have some pictures together so I'm going to have to call this necessary. Evelyn and Jason could have met in an academic class or sorts, or maybe through friends, and after looking through her bio a little, I think they could somewhat bond over hiding their accents, as farfetched as that seems, as well as a mutual love of The Beatles, studying, and the arts. Also from reading her bio, I'm just dying to find out how the pregnancy thing is going, so maybe Jason can be of some help there... though I'm not sure how.

i am definitely open to plotting with you. i have been asking for an andrew garfield for a while. shelby lee is about to have a very big wedding and it's being covered by a lot of press and it's slightly chaotic since she's an oil heiress in an arranged marriage to a state senator. maybe if they were friends before her wedding, he could be the official photographer? it would be a good career move for him since his photos would be published and shelby lee would want to help him if they were friends. anyway, i can be reached at seashelbylee on aim if you want to talk it out there?

Hiiiii I didn't get a chance to respond to your comment on my ad in pbads! But I would love to plot with you - I think Shelby Lee's story is so incredibly interesting. I would really like it if they could maybe be related (I did see your ads for an AGar~) because his mother moved from Houston to Boston before her senior year of high school, so there's definitely a road through there given the Texas background. Maybe their mothers were cousins? I know that I play both of his parents as coming from well-to-due families.

Besides that, I think it would be cool if, other than a cousins line, they could be friends. I would definitely be down for that. Oh man, it would be a solid career move for him, and would definitely help the magazine he works for, too. Maybe they met randomly over the summer somehow? Bumping into each other in a coffee shop, on the street, in a store... Jason could have whined about how in love with Myles he was but how they weren't dating, maybe she could have encouraged him to make a move - without realizing that that move would be to propose. She may have been the first person to find out Jason was married since one day he just happens to show up to a coffee date or something with a wedding ring on his finger.

Sorry if I rambled a little; I'm just kind of excited, if you can't tell. Let me know what you think!

I am super excited. I wanted an Andrew so bad so we can make super cute icons. Things like this never happen to me alkjsdlkajsd.

I think PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER and we can make both of those things work. If they were related on his mom's side then he definitely would have been hired as the photographer since her mom is planning the wedding and family is so important to them. I mean, she would be super close to Jason, too and be happy that she had some family close by. I am so excited by this, too!!!

Hello there! I just watched Imaginarium over the weekend, so I, too, am excited for the family line with ~shelbylee. And since Jason is going to be family, there's the possibility that he's already met Sebastian here, or eventually will, obviously, and I am very up for friendship lines, even with the age difference. All things considered, that's not really an issue with Sebastian. If Jason is close to Shelby Lee, then he'd want to be friends with Jason and his husband for sure.

I am very excited about the family line! I feel like by now, they should have met. But we could always swing that he's been busy and my character has been busy - I think that is also plausible. Age doesn't mean much to Jason either, as he's well-educated and is very open to discussing politics and becoming informed on subjects he doesn't know about. I dunno, I think Jason and Sebastian would get along really well!

Apologies at the late response! Just in case ~shelbylee hasn't mentioned it, Sebastian is running for Governor, so not to add to the rest, but there is that. I'd love for them to have already met within the past six months that he's been involved with Shelby Lee, and while they might talk some politics, I'm not going to be preachy and talk politics with him in journals. He's here for friendship, family and fun so I don't want anyone to be intimidated by his status. He'll love to get to know all of her family and Jason's husband as well.
