Who: Jo, Dean
When: However long after they talk it takes him to get to her place, let's go with late afternoon
Where: Her place, outside of LA
What: She hates her life and he still thinks he's in hell, should be awesome
The rather decent sized house overlooking the ocean she had settled into for the past couple months hadn't been her first since the world went to hell, or even her first in this part of the country, but so far she liked in the best. It was in something she'd once read in an US Magazine as being Villa style or whatever but she just liked the tile floors and the fact that the family who had owned it were the crazy environmentalist types to have solar panels in the roof didn't hurt. It was just outside the bulk of the city, and it was easier out there to pretend the world was still okay. She'd lived for a bit in the city and nearly didn't make it one night when a hoard ransacked her place in the middle of the night, out here it was quieter and her nights were easier.
The furniture was nice and most important comfy and she had spent a day when she first took up residence trying to make it more her place than the family that had been there before. All their photos had gone in a box, she hadn't the heart to throw it out but she also didn't like having to look at it all everyday and be reminded that the happy faces were probably dead, or worse. The windows had bars on them and there were heavy bolts installed for the doors. There was also currently a devils trap outlined underneath a rug in the entrance way because while it may have been a long time since she'd last run into a demon she sure as hell wasn't stupid and people didn't randomly show up from the dead, not in her world.
At the moment she was waiting company, which was a weird thought to begin with, but added to it that said company was Dean and the weird just got weirder. She really didn't much know what to do with herself as she waited, well really she didn't much know what do with herself in general. So she set about the task of alphabetizing the rather large record collection she'd started in the house, sub organizing by year of release, while Fleetwood Mac played on the stereo.
