Zoe gave the guy the once over, her brows lifting in that "you gotta be kiddin' me" way. A wizard who had seen hell and then some. She knew the feeling, but still..Her eyes got closer to his, but she was smart enough to keep from looking him dead on - it wasn't the easiest thing. Zoe liked knowing what was going on.
"I've been to war, Harry. I've done a hell of a lot, and seen a hell of a lot. Not much you can throw at me I can't and won't handle." For once, Zoe actually sounded like she was trying to convince herself more than the other person; then again, not many people needed to be verbally convinced of what the warrior woman could do.
"Magic. I miss the days when all I had to worry about were cannibals and the government. And maybe a bad plan or two." There was a brief brushing of eye to eye, but Zoe wasn't going to tempt fate, well, not right now anyway.
