Xandu worked the cards quickly, trying unsuccessfully to wipe the grin from her face. She'd done this so many times that she could keep the order, their meaning, and the message straight in her head without having to refer to the cards again. To Logan it would appear that she rapidly drew them until the number she'd selected were in a neat pile on the table.
"It's up to you. If you want to me to relay the cards' message I will. Otherwise, I believe you and the door are already well acquainted."
If Xanadu had intended on charging him for the reading, she would have done so up front and she would have made up something he likely would have wanted to hear. Lucky for him, the truth generally came for free when she was so inclined.
