To call Deb reactionary when stressed would be an understatement. Fray, with her knowing grin, had just push this Law a little too far.
Deb was quick. Her hands quickly grabbing Fray's shirt and slamming her backward against the desk. It wouldn't hurt, especially not a slayer, but not a lot of people expected a cop to actually act on their anger like that.
"If you are playing with me in any way, I swear to god I will make your life a living hell in return."
Deb's actions had gotten her fellow cops' attention. Some were moving to break up the action. Assuming Fray didn't fight back, Deb would be receiving a reprimand. The moment Fray struck back, the situation would be drastically different.
Deb still had Fray by the shirt, her face glaring just past a few inches apart. Her badge dangled from a chain around her neck and even she had not noticed that Miami PD had been replaced with City PD.
