Fred took a lean against Angel, just a little one. He was real! And he was human! He felt warm too. It was too wonderful, yet a little scary.

It kills as it wants, and maybe some people get to go back. Few people are taken from the same moment in time, and some are even from different versions of a similar reality. I know comic book types are here, and tv, and movie. I know that the City gives you things. It makes what it thinks you need. It puts you were it wants you. It keeps people apart as it wants. It might people people together as it wants, too." She hung her head; she didn't know that much really, and she hadn't figured on a way out yet.
