Wilson listened carefully to Hannibal, then Simon.
He turned his head towards Hannibal and coldly said, "So, Dr. Lecter, the fault is not with your unauthorized and unapproved experiments, it's with the nurse who accidentally got involved? I'd say that's passing the blame. Experiments need to be discussed and approved with the board, or at least with me. For one thing, it's a huge drain on equipment and resources. For another, the ethical implications need to be considered by someone not already involved in the concept and experimental design. There is a bureaucracy here for a reason, not just to be irritating, but to prevent accidents like these as best possible."
Turning to Simon, he went on, "And as for you, Dr. Tam, correcting the security now is bit like locking the barn after the horses have already run away, isn't it? That should have been thought of before we had zombies running around eating and infecting people chaotically. You should have known better than to play around with something like this and not inform anyone else in case an accident should happen."
Wilson leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms.
"All you two have proven is that you're in need of some responsibility and accountability, and that you lack good sense."
