Spock's brow remained raised. For a moment he couldn't determine whether the other man was making fun of him or trying to engage him in a serious conversation. Human emotions could be very difficult to interpret. Especially when it came to comedy. Spock was never very good at deciphering jokes from serious statements. It was all so very illogical to him.
"My name is Spock. I do not think that poppped in is an adequate description of my arrival. It was more of a rematerialization of sorts. Unfortunately, it will take me some time to analyze the computer data on this possibility. And without proper sensor readings I doubt the results will be accurate."
Spock glanced to the side as the buildings in the block across the street seemed to change. Ah, yes. He had forgotten about that. He would have to remember where it was that he parked the Enterprise. So he wouldn't accidentally misplace it.
He straightened his posture and returned his attentions to the Doctor.
"It would require a great amount of consistently channeled energy to suspend the laws of physics. It is thereby logical to assume that whomever has created this place has also harnessed a vast power source."
Spock looked over at the blue call box.
"You misunderstand. This is not the first time I have arrived in this city. I was here once before. I left. And now I have returned. Logic states that there must be some reason for my being here. Unfortunately, that information is yet unknown to me."
