Sliding her hands into the pockets of her jacket, she looked him over. He tended toward the black clothes, just like her. Easier to match was her excuse.
"Yea, the City removed all the doors and windows from my place one morning. Couldn't figure out why the hell it would do that, until just now when I heard about the rash of zombies. City wanted me out of the way so they could run free, for whatever reason. I'm uninjured, if that's what you're asking. I'm mighty pissed and frustrated from being stuck inside without any human or inhuman contact for so long, but I'm essentially undamaged."
Looking up at him, her brows drew together.
"So, how did you stop being a vampire? I was pretty sure that was one life decision that was pretty well undoable without, well, ceasing to exist altogether."
