Harley gave a breathy giggle. Oh yeah. She still had it. Smiling up at the fish on her hook, she murmured, “But you know the saying, don’t you?”
With a sudden flash of movement, she dropped and spun at the same time, one leg extended to connect with the ankles of the tall one. That move naturally fed into the next which was a backward tumble to the stand where the skull sat upon it’s pedestal. Pulling her arm forward, she jerked it back in a harsh motion that sent her elbow through the glass casing.
Which unfortunately set off the alarm, but Harley didn’t much care at that point. She had her hands on the skull. Tucking the thing under her arm like a football, she took off in a sprint down the hall, laughing over her shoulder, “Nice guys finish last!”
