Ever see a very mad Amazon? Unfortunately, Zoe wasn't going to get to a chance to shoot what offended her. Well, not the way she wanted anyway. As she lifted the gun to blow the damned thing's head off, something came out of nowhere, which seemed all too surreal for things that moved slower than molasses.
The hand clawed at her arm, causing the aim to be off. The zombie who'd gotten lucky enough to blink in and bite Jesse also got lucky in that only her shoulder would get the brunt of the shot. Sure, the arm would still attached, but it probably wouldn't be much use now. A few more bullets found their way through the thing that had attacked Zoe though - it wasn't so lucky. Two to the chest and one to the head seemed enough to make it stay down.
Of course, whether or not that Jesse biting bitch zombie was going to get a chance to go in for seconds, or whether or not Zoe was going to get a chance to rectify the mistake, well, that really depended on if the Amazon was going to get another chance to shoot. Timing seemed off though. The shots rather than frightening the dead things seemed to be an invitation for dinner.
