Firekeeper clambered to her feet again, her palms and knees skinned. They didn't bleed, though, not as they would have were her heart still beating. She shook her head a few times, trying to clear grit and dirt from them, before looking around for her prey. It took her several moments, but she saw motion in a tree ahead of her. She could climb, she was sure. And again, she was off.
But so was Blind Seer. He had seen her climb trees before. She climbed almost as well as a great cat, and he had no wish to see if she would still be able to in her current state.
