Blind Seer did indeed think the plan mad at first, but after several long seconds, he had to concede that his plan of trying to herd her was no better. She seemed to ignore him and his attempts, something which hurt him deeper than he would admit. He nodded, chuffing angrilly as he did so.
Firekeeper had stopped completely, and was sniffing the air. She was so hungry. She couldn't smell anything worth going after upwind--only the faint scents of the park, the city, and... others like her. There were more out there somewhere, and she felt the sudden powerful urge to gather. She was a pack animal at heart, after all.
Blind Seer saw her start to jog off and growled. There was no way to isolate her if she went much further, so he took off after her without a backward glance at Robin. The plan, such as it was, would be of no use if there was more than just Firekeeper chasing after Robin. He shot off in front of her and blocked her path, growling in warning. She growled back in annoyance.
