Robin was wishing for the counsel of his own medical authority. Djaq had a remedy for anything. Her quick thinking and knowledge of medicine had saved his life as well as others. If she didn't have a cure for this strange ailment, she would at least have a start -- or so he liked to imagine right now.
As Robin went to follow along after Firekeeper, he came to an abrupt halt as his olive-hued tunic was secured between the teeth of the large wolf. He grumbled with annoyance, but had some reserves about getting too gruff with something that could take a bite out of him easily.
"Hey.." He whispered, backing up a step so that the fabric was no longer strained between them. "Let go, all right? I just want to help her. If she leaves the forest, she's going to infect others unless they kill her first; which they are doing." A harsh tone of impatience had seeped into his hushed words, but then softened as he realized what he was doing. "And I'm talking to a wolf in detail..."
Maybe he had been infected, maybe madness was where it started.
