Punch and Judy landed hard on the street, still catching their breaths.
"Did we lose them?" asked Judy between huge, wheezing gasps, doubled over with his hands on his knees.
"I think so. We used up all our silk and our tranq's, for what good that did us." To further emphasize the uselessness of their non-lethal equipment, removed his wings and threw them to the ground. Then he picked them up and carefully started packing them into their pouch.
"I told you - remove the head or destroy the brain. It's the only way!" Judy was now lying on his back.
"Yeah, with what? You were too busy running away to try breaking into the pawn shop for some guns."
"Running is your best defense when facing zombies unarmed. Read the Zombie Survival Guide."
"Does the guide also say to scream like a harpy to alert every zombie in the City to our location?"
Judy sat up. "Whatever. We got to the Asylum, right? We'll be totally safe here."
"Ohh, crap..." said Punch with more exhaustion than horror. A form lurched into the light of the streetlamp, between the henchmen and the asylum.
