She smiled as she crossed over to the kitchen, accepting the cup of coffee gratefully before taking a sip. All things considered, while Dean was a great Hunter with his brother and in general (Winchester boys, naturally), he wasn't that bad in the kitchen. Wasn't the same as it usually was, but Jo was more than ready for a change. This was something she would have liked to wake up every morning for the rest of her life. But that was never going to happen, she knew that. But she was happy with right now.
About to open her mouth to reply, Jo's attention was riveted onto the screen, the coffee and breakfast soon forgotten. Her face slackened before it caught itself and became hard and stern. Putting the cup down on the counter, she focused her attention on the screen. She couldn't believe her eyes. Overnight, it was like the City had become infested with zombies. Had she missed a few? She felt her blood run cold.
Jo didn't look back. She didn't have to. "Yep," she said, her voice low. It's all my fault. I can't believe I missed one. Unless there were others that were late....... "We ought to get movin'. Find Sam. Make sure he's alrigh'. Maybe find a few people to help out. Or help out ourselves."
